TRYOUT DETAILS2022 TRYOUTS(updated 3/28/2022) Due to the rain, today's scheduled tryouts have been rescheduled for Wednesday April 6th. Times and location will be the same. This Wednesday's tryouts (March 30th) will be held as scheduled, if the fields have been reopened. Players are invited to attend two tryout sessions.
Tryouts are open to all players. There is no charge to players who were registered in AYSO in the Fall 2021 season. Non-AYSO players will be asked to pay a $10 fee to cover insurance and costs.
Tryouts are held at Conejo Creek South fields:
HOW TRYOUTS WORKPlayers should check in for their tryout session at least 15 minutes early. Each player needs to bring 2 copies of their Tryout Form when checking in. Players will be issued a pinnie and a number to attach to the pinnie. They will use the same number for all nights.
Tryout sessions will be approximately ninety minutes in length. They will be led by trainers. Players will be grouped according to age and gender. Independent evaluators will assess the players, and rate them on specific criteria including ball control, passing, shooting, trapping, game sense, and positional play. Players will also participate in short sided scrimmages. The highest rated players will be given the opportunity to register for the EXTRA team.
Players should anticipate that the tryouts will be competitive in nature, and not all players will make the team. Players who are not selected for an EXTRA team will be encouraged to play in the AYSO core program.

Full soccer kit (shorts, socks, shoes, shin guards, and age appropriate ball)
$10 insurance fee (if not registered in AYSO during the 2021 season) and Non-AYSO Player form (please email us and we can email you the form).

AGE DIVISIONS
In the 2021/22 playing season, the AYSO EXTRA program in Section 10 has moved to the new U.S. Soccer calendar year registration system.
