A birth certificate is necessary for new players. You can upload a copy of the birth certificate into Sports Connect, or you can send a copy of the child's birth certificate via email or to our PO Box.

Do not create a new Sports Connect account if you already have one. If you do, you will lose access to past Participant/Player or Volunteer information using your existing username and password.

Player registration MUST be done online, with an internet-connected computer or with a smartphone or tablet.
How to Register for the Fall Core season: ((((_Players New to AYSO ONLY_))))

- Go to the Region 9 website at: www.ayso9.org
- Click on the Register Now button in the upper right corner of the Region 9 home page. You will be asked to create an AYSO Account.
- Enter an email address you will use for the account.
- Next page, enter a Password you will use for the account and enter again to confirm.
Note: Write down the password as you will need it to access your account in the future……
- Follow the instructions to fill out the registration information. VERY IMPORTANT: Be sure to read and accept the 5 requirements at the bottom of the registration. The registration cannot be completed without this being completed.
- Submit the application and follow instructions for entering registration fee.
Make sure your Participant/Player's full name, gender, and date of birth are accurate on the Add New Participant page before clicking Continue. After you click that button, changes can't be made; if you spot an error, you'll need to reach out to the Registrar.

Dates and locations for player evaluations will be announced. Parents of players with complete online applications will be informed via email, and the information will also be available on the Region 9 website.
Program descriptions:
AYSO Standard Core -- "Standard Competitive and Non-competitive Soccer Program.
AYSO EPIC -- "Program designed for Special needs children with Disabilities.
AYSO Winter League -- "Program designed for continued play after the regular season
On top of the registration fee, each player incurs an additional $25.00 AYSO National Annual Membership Fee and a $2.75 credit card processing fee per transaction.
Please note: AYSO Region 9 depends on volunteers. The number of teams is based on how many parents sign up as Head Coaches. When registering your child, also consider volunteering as a Referee or Assistant Coach.
Read the Volunteer Registration Instructions carefully, as steps may take some time to understand.
Note: Only youth players are "Participants" in Sports Connect.
Adult Volunteers are not Participants; they are "Volunteers".
