2024/2025 WINTER LEAGUE
Winter League Dates: January 18th, 2025 – March 1, 2025 (7 weeks)
- Online Registration via Sports Connect (www.ayso9.org) is available
11/21 through 12/20 for players born 2011-2017 (7U-14U).
Cost: $100 per player. No Scholarships, no additional player discount.
- Teams will be formed 12/21.
There will be separate boys and girls teams for 7U/8U and 10U.
The 12U and the 14U Division will be Coed. - Volunteer registration is needed at the time of player registration - All teams require Head Coach & Referee in order to be formed.
- Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Team Managers and Referees must complete all required Certifications before the season starts.
- Teams will be built according to the number of Coach and Referee volunteers.
Players without any associated volunteer are NOT guaranteed to be placed on a team.
Players with volunteers will be prioritized in team building.
No teams will be built without at least one Coach and one volunteer Referee. - Games include one Center Referee which is supplied by the Home Team.
Referees will work their own teams’ games.
Club linesmen are to be supplied by parents on each side.
One Regional Referee Companion Course, January 4, 2025, 9AM-1PM, for all first-time volunteer referees. NOTE: This is NOT all one has to do! Don't just show up thinking that. - Games will be held between 9:00 am and noon on Saturday mornings.
Game schedules will be posted by late December/early January.
Winter League team designations use "W" rather than "U" as the 3rd character, e.g. 08WB01, 08WG02, 10WB06.
- All divisions and games are non-competitive. No scores or standings will be kept; no end-of-season medals or trophies.
- Teams will practice 1 evening per week.
